Coins of the Russia of a sample of 1992
Coins of a new sample with completely new design of the both sides were issued. There is no the State Emblem of the Russian Federation on the right coins' side. The image of a double-headed eagle is emblem of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. There is the mark of a mint (Moskow or Leningrad) on the right coins' side.

Coins of a new design of the both sides were issued. Issuing of coins 1 rouble and 5 roubles is stopped because of inflation. Sizes of all coins are not changed (with one exception - a coin of 100 roubles).

Coins of the Russia of a sample of 1997
Coins of a new sample with completely new design of the both sides were issued. There is no the State Emblem of the Russian Federation on the right coins' side as before. Issuing of copecks is resumed again. On the right copecks' side - Saint George with a spear strikes a dragon. From a word "spear"[kop'jo] there was a name of a coin - copeck.

Coins of the Russia of a sample of 1997 (in circulation since 01.10.2009) 
The coin of the Bank of Russia with denomination of 10 rubles of a new design was issued. The coin is disc-shaped, yellow in color and has ledges along the rim on both sides obverse and reverse. The material of the coin has ferromagnetic characteristics. On the reverse side inside of the figure "0" the hidden pictures - the figure: "10" and the inscription: "" (RUB) visible by turns on changing the angle of vision.
